Real Estate:
Buyers & Sellers
Friendly, down-to-earth, and transparent real estate closing services to help you get into (or out of) your next home.
Between the banks and the lawyers, it seems like everyone’s forgotten how to talk like a normal person. At One Sharpe Lawyer, we believe in breaking down the legalese into real English that’s approachable for everyone, so you understand exactly what you’re signing.
How We Help You Buy or Sell Your Home
-
Contract Review
Standard form residential sales contracts include a lot of legalese that may not be clear to you or your realtor. We include a complimentary 30-minute advising session for each of our closing clients to answer questions about their purchase contract to give you the confidence and information you need to close.
-
Client Portal
Every client closing includes access to a secure client portal which you can access whenever and wherever you connect to the internet. We will post key communications and closing documents as they become available so you can see our progress in real time - without having to make a call or send an email.
-
Protecting Your Information
Cybersecurity has never been more important. Fraud and data theft are rampant throughout the legal and financial industry. OSL takes protecting your information seriously which means we follow all of the industry best practices to make sure your money and your files stay where they belong.
What To Expect
The law is complicated, but working with an attorney should be simple. At OSL, we offer custom solutions based on the facts of the case and your specific needs. To do that, we accept a limited number of representations at a time to ensure we give our clients the attention and energy that they deserve. If you’re interested in becoming an OSL client, please follow these step-by-step instructions for the client intake process..
Step 1
Please make an appointment using the corresponding link on this page and provide us with as much information as possible about: you and your business; any other parties involved; the type of transaction (e.g., first-time home buyer, experienced buyer, seller, investment property, etc.); and anything else you think we should know about you or your matter.
Step 2
OSL will take the information you give us and check our database to confirm that we do not have a conflict of interest. Regardless of whether we can take your matter, we will contact you in writing to confirm your consultation appointment.
Step 3
Once we confirm your consultation appointment, gather all of the documents, videos, pictures, and any other items or information that relate to your matter and bring them with you to show the attorney during the meeting. Having this information up front helps us provide the best analysis possible.
